Men of Missouri, Kansas and beyond are invited to be encouraged and challenged at the Kansas City Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Conference on Saturday, Sept. 25, at Harmony Vineyard Fellowship in Kansas City North. The event is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:55 p.m. and is hosted by Men of Valor and People Matter Ministries.
The 2010 event is one of 44 one-day men’s equipping conferences nationwide. Men’s hearts will be stirred, leaving them sharpened, encouraged and equipped to live engaged, focused lives. The Kansas City conference will feature two nationally-known men’s speakers: Carey Casey, president of the National Center for Fathering, and Vince D'Acchioli, president of On Target Ministries. This conference will also feature one of the finest music teams from the region, helping men enter into worship and praise.
In addition, Iron Sharpens Iron will also feature 16 equipping seminars that apply to the issues men are dealing with in their daily lives, as well as seminars that will help equip leaders to be more effective in ministering to men. Top men in their fields from our nation and region will be leading each of these seminars.

Who attends Iron Sharpens Iron?
» EMERGING MEN (age 13-19)
These are the men who are aggressivley moving from living as a boy to living as a man. Give them room to grow.
» PIONEERING MEN (age 20-29)
These are the men who are carving out their place in life. What to do? Where to do it? Who to do it with?
» FULL THROTTLE MEN (age 30-55)
These are the men who are the producers and providers. They are warriors and are fully engaged in everything they do.
» SEASONED MEN (age 55+)
These are the men who have “been there” and “done that” - and have lived to tell about it. They are a living legacy.
